File Manager

File Manager is where every attachment you've uploaded lives — across campaigns and your global settings — in one place. It's the central library rather than something you upload into separately each time; files uploaded elsewhere (like a campaign's attachments) show up here too.

Uploading a file​

Click Upload Files to add a new attachment. Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG — up to 5MB per file.

Uploading a file here doesn't attach it to anything by itself — it just makes it available. You still need to link it to a specific campaign, a specific email, or your global settings before it's actually included in any outgoing mail.

Browsing your files​

The file list can be sorted Alphabetically or by Size, and filtered by where a file is linked:

  • Campaigns — files currently attached to one or more campaigns.
  • Global — files linked to your account-wide global settings, meaning they're included by default in every campaign that hasn't opted out.

If you haven't uploaded anything yet, you'll see No attachments yet with a prompt to use the Upload Files button.

How attachments actually get used​

A file can be linked at up to three levels at once:

  1. An individual email's own attachments — set directly on that email.
  2. A campaign's attachments — included on every email in that campaign, if the campaign has campaign-attachment inheritance turned on.
  3. Global attachments — included on every campaign's emails account-wide, if that campaign hasn't opted out of global inheritance.

Worth knowing: attachment links are resolved once, at the moment an email is generated, sent, or scheduled — not read fresh every time. If you link a new file to a campaign after an email has already been generated, that email won't retroactively pick it up; you'd need to regenerate it.

Deleting a file​

Deleting a file here is a soft delete — it disappears from File Manager and can't be linked anywhere new, but any email, campaign, or global setting that was already using it keeps working unaffected. If you need to use that same file somewhere new later, you'll need to re-upload it.
