Outlook
Connecting an Outlook mailbox uses Microsoft's own sign-in flow, so you never need to enter a password directly into Aimly.
Steps
- When creating or editing a mailbox, select Outlook as the email provider.
- The credential fields are replaced by a single Sign in with Microsoft button — there's no address or password to enter, because the account you sign in with supplies both.
- Click it. A Microsoft sign-in window opens; sign in and approve access there.
- Aimly picks the sign-in up automatically and finishes with Finish Creating Mailbox.
If your browser blocks the popup, use the Open the sign-in page link Aimly shows while it waits.
Outlook mailboxes connected this way send and read through Microsoft Graph, so no app password or manual SMTP/IMAP setup is needed. Microsoft has disabled basic authentication for these mailboxes, which is why signing in is the only option — if you need SMTP/IMAP with an app password, pick Custom and enter the host settings yourself.
